Julie Hasson

Julie Hasson is the author of five cookbooks: 125 Best Chocolate Chip Recipes (Gourmand Award winner), 125 Best Chocolate Recipes, 125 Best Cupcake Recipes, 300 Best Chocolate Recipes, and The Complete Book Of Pies. Julie has contributed extensive recipes and articles to Bon Appétit, Cooking Light, Vegetarian Times and Family Fun Magazine, as well as Internet websites and newspaper articles.

Julie attended cooking school in Los Angeles, where she was called into service as a private chef for high profile and celebrity clients catering to extensive tastes and palates. She then went on to develop recipes on a large scale for her own bakery, distributing award winning products to grocery chains, famed coffee shops and celebrity clients. Julie has worked as a spokesperson for national corporate clients on their ad campaigns, and is the host of the highly acclaimed internet cooking show, “Everyday Dish”.  Julie currently runs a hip little food cart called Native Bowl, in Portland, Oregon with her husband.
