Laura Cipullo

A Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator and Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian, Laura Cipullo maintains her private nutrition practice in NYC with almost 20 years of experience. She specializes in child/adult prevention and treatment of eating disorders, Diabetes Education and Women’s/Family Health. Laura is an author, speaker and TV commentator. She shares her nutritional wisdom with a variety of media outlets including Diabetes Forecast, Real Simple Magazine and Gurze/Salucore Eating Disorders Resource Catalogue.

Laura is the author of “Healthy Habits”—an 8-week-long children’s program educating adults on how to teach children about nutrition and health with a positive, weight neutral approach. Laura founded and manages a blog platform called Mom Dishes It Out for RD moms to share a positive feeding and eating approach. Laura’s first book, the Diabetes Comfort Food Diet is being re-released September of 2015. This is not your typical diet book. Laura takes the reader through five stages of change to create a diet of habit nourishment while eating all foods and managing blood sugar. Laura’s third book, the Women’s Health Body Clock Diet is due out this December. Laura teaches women to change their relationship with food and their body. This book transforms women’s lives by helping the reader to reset and honor their body clock. With coping skills, recipes, self care tips and a whole new outlook on life, women will never again need to restrict or deprive themselves.

Laura is President of the New York chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) for her second term. She is a mother of two fabulous boys and is newly adjusting to life in the Jersey suburbs.
