Natasha Saunders, MD, MSc, FRCPC
Dr. Natasha Saunders is a staff pediatrician in the Division of Pediatric Medicine at the world famous Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto where she provides inpatient and outpatient care to infants, children, and youth from birth to 18 years.
Natasha also works as a health services researcher at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences and the SickKids Research Institute in Toronto. She is actively involved in teaching budding pediatricians and in research and has published a number of papers about a wide range of child health issues. A core focus of her research program relates to better understanding health outcomes of pediatric immigrants and identifying ways to improve access to care for immigrant children.
Natasha has co-written two bestselling books for parents, most recently Baby Care Basics and The A to Z of Children’s Health: A Parent’s Guide From Birth to 10 Years.
Natasha was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto, her pediatric residency at The Hospital for Sick Children, and her Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at The Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.
Natasha is a mother to two children who keep her very busy!
