Pat Crocker

Writer, photographer, radio host, author of nine cookbooks and the new Herb Series of Handbooks, Pat Crocker is a foodie who loves her work as a culinary herbalist and wonders, “With what other job could one wander alone in beautiful gardens, eat exquisite food, and then tell others about those pleasures?” A Home Economist (BAA, BEd), specializing in herbs and healthy foods, Pat has been growing, photographing, teaching, and writing about herbs, herb gardens, food, and healthy diets for over two decades. She lectures at international conventions, is a regular on television, and is a seasoned media guest. Pat is a contributing editor of The Herb Companion and her articles have appeared in the Toronto Star, The Ottawa Sun Times, Natural Home Magazine, Open Magazine and Health Naturally.

Pat is a bestselling and international award-winning author (first place, Gourmand International World Cookbook Award for Vegan Cook's Bible), past president of the Ontario Herbalists’ Association and both the Toronto and the Ontario Home Economics Association. Pat actively participates in the Herb Society of America, the International Herb Association, the International Association of Culinary Professionals, Cuisine Canada, the Ontario Culinary Historians, and the (Toronto) Women’s Culinary Network. Pat shares a studio/art gallery in Neustadt, Ontario with her husband.
