The perfect beverage for a chilly winter's day! Warm up with one this holiday!

Ingredients Makes 1

1⁄2 cup chilled espresso or strong coffee 125 mL
1⁄3 cup half-and-half (10%) cream or evaporated milk 75 mL
3 chocolate-covered coffee beans 3
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder or carob powder 15 mL
1⁄8 tsp ground cinnamon 0.5 mL
6 frozen skim milk cubes, divided 6

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine espresso, cream, coffee beans, cocoa powder, cinnamon and 3 skim milk cubes. Secure lid and process using the chop or pulse function until smooth.
  2. Add remaining skim milk cubes, one at a time, and process using the chop or pulse function until smooth. Keep adding skim milk cubes until desired thickness is achieved. Serve immediately with a spoon.
