Blue Pear Smoothie

Smoothies are a fabulous way to consume your fruits and veggies! They also keep you going when you have a long day ahead.


1/2 cup pear nectar or apple juice 125 mL
3 pears, quartered 3
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese 50 mL
1/2 tsp rice vinegar 2 mL
1 tsp chopped fresh tarragon or basil 5 mL


  1. In a blender, combine pear nectar, pears, cheese, vinegar and tarragon. Secure lid and blend (from low to high if using a variable speed blender) until smooth.
